JUSTICE & MERCY DTS: FALL 2010 - The Justice & Mercy focused DTS highlights strategic issues common to the 10/40 Window: HIV&AIDS, human trafficking, refugees, child soldiers, illiteracy, gender based injustice and extreme poverty. Classes, daily life, local ministry and outreach will all focus on God’s heart for bringing love and mercy to victims of injustice.

Lecture Phase 12 Weeks: Classes run in weekly modules with topics like: Hearing the Voice of God, Intercession, The Father Heart of God, Spiritual Warfare, Relationships, Evangelism and Missions. Students live out what they are learning through one-on-one discipleship, Bible studies, local outreach and campus work duties.

Outreach Phase 10-12 Weeks: In teams, students and staff serve alongside long-term YWAM missionaries in the 10/40 Window. Activities include teaching English, working with orphans and refugees, serving in AIDS clinics and evangelism.

September DTS: If lecture fees paid by August 1st, $100 discount.

Outreach Phase Cost*: $1,895 grounds fees + Airfare

A word from our DTS School Leader: DTS is an unparalleled season that allows you an opportunity to cultivate a deeper, more rich relationship with God. Through worship, intercession, and lots of biblically inspired teachings, you are given a freedom and an atmosphere that nurtures a deep intimacy with God and others. In the Justice & Mercy DTS, we have the unique opportunity to not only wrestle through the traditional DTS topics, but to match each of those with this question, "How does God's righteous justice prevail and redeem in my own life and the lives of those around me?" Together we will connect with God's heart for the nations through a deep revelation of His heart for each of us! In order to stand and face the deep questions of justice and injustice, it will take a strong foundation, personal revelations, and a committed core of believers around us. We will ask the hard questions, revel in the abundant grace, and share all of what we have learned. In the Justice & Mercy DTS, we will pursue God together, as friends, as family, as the church! - Jen Brim
